Virtue and a Sledgehammer is a 2026 narrative exploration game by Deconstructeam and Selkie Harbour, published by Devolver Digital. You return to the hometown of Virtud with a sledgehammer and break through streets occupied by digitised neighbours. It launched on Windows via Steam on 27 October 2026.

I checked the Steam store API, the Devolver press kit notes in our research file, Metacritic, OpenCritic, and HowLongToBeat on 29 October 2026, then watched the public chapter list on the fgw full-game video. I did not treat a single outlet’s number as the only length or the only score. Where two sources disagree, both stay on the page.

As of 2026-10-29, Steam lists Windows only and Devolver’s press kit says Windows PC. No PS5, Xbox, or Switch version has been announced.
